Haha...There really was frost on the pumpkins this morning at Post Family Farms. We had a beautiful, cold, but sunny day at the pumpkin patch.
Fifty six kindergartners arrived at the farm bundled up and ready for a good time. We divided up into three groups and we were ready to start the 6 activities.
Mmmm...these are some really good donuts!
My group headed to the famous Post Family Farm Pumpkin Donuts first.
Ewww...don't let him lick me!
Then, we were off to see the animals. We petted the goats, and the calves and saw the chickens, pigs, horses, and sheep.
Next, we met up with the ladybug class for a hayride to the pumpkin patch where we all got to pick a pumpkin!
We learned about how pumpkins grow from seeds to big orange pumpkins.
We took a little ride on the pumpkin train and had some time to play in the straw maze.
...and we even had some time to play on the playground.
