Another interesting week! I can see more and more routines being established every day. So quickly we learn to follow the rules and notice when routines are changed. Today, for example, the kids were all lined up to come in from recess I told them we would go right to the rug instead of our usual walk to the bathroom. (With 65 kindergartners plus first graders and some second graders all using the bathroom, it just made sense to go in shifts.) As soon as I said right to the rug, someone piped up "I think going to the bathroom is a good idea." (...like he's giving me a hint.)
Here are few other things that struck me as being funny:
"How come every time I walk I drip water? (leaky juice bottle;)
While carrying the chair to chapel, "Can you scratch my head?" (Sure, all in a day's work.)
